I know I haven’t heard from Paul Wall in a minute, but I didn’t know that it had come to this… (via Broken Cool)

So…its really come to this. Even those dudes that use to be on BET’s unCUT had a Sony Handi-Cam to film their videos. Who’s going to be the next well-known rapper to follow in this trend, and is it even worth it? Its not like anyone is giving Paul Wall the money that wasn’t spent on making a regular video (maybe it goes towards promotion? who knows.)

I would love to have sat in on that pitch meeting. We have no money, but a trendy music video must be made. So rather than make a trendy video, let's shoot a mediocre, blurry video using a trendy device. Brilliant. And I'm going to Twitter my autobiography. It'll be terrible and really annoying to read 160 characters at a time. But it'll also be trendy and groundbreaking because I did it on Twitter.
