Breaking News: “Reality” TV Stars may be unstable
Before I even go any further, let me extend my condolences to the family and friends of this girl. I don’t know any facts to this story, but I know she certainly didn’t deserve to be murdered, let alone stuffed in a suit case and put in a trash bin. That is sad and completely wrong. I do sincerely hope that whoever was involved in her death is brought to justice. Human life does not seem to be valued by the murderer, and whatever bit of “rational” thinking lead them down this path…well, I hope they’re able to get help.
Second Caveat: I randomly picked a picture for this post, and am in no way implying that the particular reality show star chosen has any mental deficiencies; I’m just a fan of Coral. Why? Cause she doesn’t wrestle, she beats bitches up.
MSNBC has the story,
BUENA PARK, Calif. – A former contestant on the reality TV show “Megan Wants a Millionaire” is being sought for questioning in the death of a woman whose body was found stuffed in a suitcase in an Orange County trash bin.
Buena Park police said they want to speak with Ryan Alexander Jenkins, 32, about the strangulation death of 28-year-old Jasmine Fiore. The nude body of the swimsuit model was found in a Buena Park trash bin Saturday morning.
Jenkins — who may have been Fiore’s boyfriend or husband — reported her missing Saturday night and then vanished, police saidhe may be heading back to his native Canada.
A spokesman for VH1 said Jenkins appeared on three episodes of “Megan Wants a Millionaire.”
Fiore had recently moved to Los Angeles from Las Vegas and had appeared in an ad for Howard Stern’s radio show.
Sad story, but how surprising is it really, that someone that was on a reality show is wanted in connection with a murder? The public cannot and should not be surprised when something goes wrong with one of these stars. Am I saying they’re all crazy? Of course not. There are surely “regular people” who are on reality TV. Some of them are even talented in other aspects of life. On the other hand though, if you are trying to make a career out of kayaking out to a buoy and back before another team or fending off other girls to win a picnic with Antonio Sabato Jr.?, you may be in need of a life coach. Quite frankly, I don’t remember “reality TV show star” being one of the options at career day (wonder what sort of degree you need for that?). Sure, reality TV may bring some entertainment, but we have to remember why those people usually make it in the first place; controversy. You know where all the non-violent, non-racist, non-bitchy, not slutty, rational decision making reality TV show stars are…? They don’t exist. Boring, regular people dont drive ratings.
Unfortunately, this situation may be further evidence of that fact.
