I Spend Way Too Much Time Writing about Day26

I’ve written way more about Day26 (here, here, here, here, and here) than records Day26 has sold (ouch!).  While this video isn’t as good as Got Me Goin, it is good enough to remind me why I even care about Day26.

Simply – they have talent.

Of course, they are well served here with a song that actually has some form.  And it doesn’t hurt that Willie got the memo that he need to actually emote and not just be the pretty boy in the center taking up space.  (Still unsure why Willie and Q are singing so much lead, their voices are just serviceable at best).

They also look more like a unit than they have since Got Me Goin.

That said, their album still really sucks.  But people might have been fooled into thinking it wasn’t if Stadium Music had been the lead single and this was the follow-up.  Neither song is truly great, but both are good enough to get the kids interested, methinks.

Anywho, off to watch some old Jodeci and Playa videos.
