Megan Fox: Kisses Girls, makes bad movies

Sometimes, not even two hot girls kissing is worth spending money on.  Not that I ever have… wait, no!

Oh “Jennifer’s Body“… What are we going to do with you?

When I first heard about this project probably about a year ago, I thought that it maybe had some promise.  After all, Diablo Cody was the writer, and I loved “Juno”.  Then I heard that Megan Fox was cast…as the lead role. That didn’t instantly tell me that it was going to suck, it just made my spider sense tingle…a lot.  It went something like this.

Hmm, my spider sense is tingling.  Someone is about to green light what is probably a really, really bad movie script, and put someone who’s extremely attractive but can’t act in the lead role. Jessica Alba is still with her newborn baby. Jessica Biel already finished Powder Blue…who could it be?

My fears were semi-confirmed when semi-naked pictures of Fox (probably NSFW, unless you’re an intern for one of those sites that post images of half naked girls all day) on the set of the movie started to appear.

Semi-naked pictures…for a movie called Jennifer’s body. That’s funny, I don’t remember half naked pictures of anyone in Slumdog Millionaire or Curious Case of Benjamin Button leaking before those movies came out to generate interest…The last time I even heard anything of the sort was Jessica Biel in that movie that went straight to DVD…maybe its just coincidence.

And then…it happened. The coup de grace to movie goers with any good sense…The leaked “lesbian kiss scene”.

Great.  This movie is guaranteed to suck.  The acting is even bad in the Entertainment Tonight interviews; when the actors are being spontaneous.  How much worse will it be when they have to follow a script and act a certain way on purpose?  Not even that lesbian kiss between Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried that runs from :12 – :15 in the above video clip can save this movie (what? I have an attention to detail!).

You heard it here first folks, Jennifer’s Body will suck.

Sure, I’m still going to go see it opening night just for the lesbian kiss scene, but believe you me, I’m going to be plenty mad about the situation. Plenty mad.
