MTV 2009 VMA’s…now with more Janet Jackson

Personally, I’m very much removed from the 3 hour snooze-fest that is the MTV Video Music Awards.  But, they may be able to pull my attention for 5 minutes, because of an apparent Michael Jackson tribute featuring Mike’s famous sister, Janet.

DURING THE “2009 VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS”

ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2009 AT 9PM ET/PT

New York, NY (September 8, 2009) –– MTV has announced that Janet Jackson will make a special appearance at the “2009 Video Music Awards. ”  Janet, an MTV icon in her own right, will help open the entire show  to honor Michael’s celebrated career.

Previous reports noting that choreographer Frank Gaston is involved are erroneous. The Video Music Awards air Sunday, September 13, 2009 at 9PM SHARP (Live ET/Tape delayed PT.)
