Rafa Gets a Man Hug

I’m sure there will be lots of talk in sports news land today about obvious security issues at the U.S. Open. Last night after a very exciting match between Gael Monfils (13) of France and Rafael Nadal (3), viewers were treated to a very awkward fandemonium moment. After winning the match 6-7 6-3 6-1 6-3, newly buff Nadal took the task of putting his equipment away before signing balls for fans and was grabbed by an overexcited, camera-bearing, man fan who managed to get past security and onto the court. The fan managed to sort of hug Rafa before being carried off by security. I have no idea how security could have let this happen especially to such a high profile player, but it was funny so what the heck. (The incident occurs at about the 58th second in the highlight clip below).
