Forbes NFL power rankings: Week 1

james_harrison1. Pittsburgh Steelers (1-0)
On top until somebody tells James Harrison otherwise.

2. Baltimore Ravens (1-0)
Flacco is already the best quarterback the Ravens have ever had.

3. New England Patriots (1-0)
Gisele is knocked up, the hormones are raging, and Brady’s gonna take out his domestic frustrations on the NFL.

4. Philadelphia Eagles (1-0)
My dream scenario is coming true.  McNabb is down and Vick is one week away from taking the reins and leading the Eagles to a Super Bowl, making half of America furious in the process.

5. Tennessee Titans (0-1)
No shame in losing to the world champs on the road.

6. Indianapolis Colts (1-0)
That WR corps is thinning out rapidly, but Manning will make it work.

7. Atlanta Falcons (1-0)
Didn’t take long for Tony Gonzalez and Matt Ryan to gel.

8. New York Giants (1-0)
You don’t get too many brownie points for beating the hapless, pathetic Washington Redskins, but the Giants are still one of the best teams in the NFC.

9. Green Bay Packers (1-0)
The Bears gave that game away, but somebody had to be there to take it.

10. Minnesota Vikings (1-0)
I simply don’t believe Favre will continue to stay out of Peterson’s way the way he did so brilliantly on Sunday.  At some point, he’s going to feel like it’s all up to him, and he’ll promptly throw go out and throw 6 interceptions.

On the bubble: Chicago Bears (0-1), Dallas Cowboys (0-1), New York Jets (1-0), Jacksonville Jaguars (0-1), San Diego Chargers (1-0)

First of all, the Cowboys are 1-0. Second, the Skins will be in your top 10 by the end of the season. Third, the Eagles, Falcons and Vikings all suck and will fall from your rankings. Do better.
