So ladies, have you ever had one of those days when you just couldn’t stay warm at work? I’ve tried the usual sweater with no luck and a space heater just wastes too much energy… I’m freezing right now and I’ve tried warming my hands and feet, hmm maybe wearing a hat would help. Oh no, nothing is working. Why oh why can’t I get warm? Where is the heat going? Who can help me? Maybe I should ask our friends in Japan; of course they will have the answer for me…

Al Pacino – Italian Gigolo

No Richard Gere isn’t bringing out a sequel to the 1980 classic. The Italian gigolo is none other than one Mr. Al Pacino. You never really think that the Hollywood elite were once struggling actors, but I guess everyone has to work their way up. Pacino seemed to have it a little more ruff than most others. After dropping out school to pursue his acting part time Pacino found himself hungry and homeless. He told The New York post that “At 20, I lived in Sicily by selling the only asset I had – my body, … An older woman traded food and housing in return for sex. I woke mornings not really loving myself.” In the end I guess it all worked out for him; The Godfather Trilogy (we will forgive him for part III), Scarface, Carlito’s Way, Sent of a Woman … yeah he’s done alright for himself.

If you were sitting around wondering when the next psuedo-celebrity would bring out a sex tape to generate publicity for themselves…wonder no more!

And yes, that is two Lorenzo Lamas references on this site in the last two days. And while I feel guilty, I’m not apologizing. More info on what is definitely a publicity stunt, from Egotastic,

“Yes I did make a sex tape with my boyfriend earlier this year. In fact I’ve made several sex tapes, but I certainly didn’t sign off on this and Vivid has no right to put it out. I am trying to get a hold of my attorney now.”

Vivid had this response:

“We were approached by a third party, who brought us footage of Shauna having sex with her current boyfriend and we were immediately interested in acquiring it … We’re comfortable with our legal position in releasing this footage.”

Anyone remember the Paris Hilton sex tape? It was in like night vision and stuff? Or the Kim Kardashian stuff which was like Ray-J and a handi-cam? Well, if you can stomach it, go look at the sample site (NSFW, unless you work in adult movies); it looks like Steven Spielberg produced this stuff! All that’s missing is a craft food services cart and a key grip. Its almost scary how professional that looks…think of the money wasted.

On another note, although it is definitely fleeting, its always interesting how “celebrities” use the nudity route to get their names in the public eye. More so though, its interesting that whereas Playboy used to be the avenue celebrities used to gain attention, “just being naked” is seemingly no longer enough; the sex tape is the soup du jour. Not sure if that speaks to the increasing depravity found in our society or if someone just realized that having sex gets more attention than a picture. In any case…especially in this case…its not a good look.

Leave it to the Lamas’ … A Joke, Right?

Once again the world of reality TV is bringing an embarrassingly almost famous dysfunctional family into the family rooms of a very desperate American public who apparently are thought to have no standards whatsoever. Although perhaps they are right; How many spin offs did Flavor of Love have? with more on the way I’m sure… And take the Kardashians, but I digress…

Anyone remember Lorenzo Lamas? Better question; does anyone want to? Well E! isn’t really giving us a choice. He and is sort-of family are the subject of the new reality show Leave It to Lamas’ . I say sort of family because the story focuses on his media whore daughter Shayne last seen as the unconvincing “winner” of The Bachelor 2008, her over plasticized mother, her brother AJ (who, by the way slept with his father’s wife playboy playmate Shauna Sands at the age of eighteen; so classy), and half sister Dakota.

I have no idea how Lorenzo actually fits into all of this besides being Shayne father. Lorenzo claims that the show will be completely unscripted and show their everyday lives. In an interview at the premiere Lorenzo commented “I think our family is pretty normal compared to everyone else out here…I mean, yeah, my parents are famous, and I’m in the business, but we’re really kind of a normal family.” Normal? Seriously? You have four ex wives including a nude model, an extinct acting career (compliments of your famous parents), a daughter that will do anything to be on TV (see British Bachelor Matt for details), and son who enjoys having sex with his stepmother. Sooo normal; I know I can totally relate and I’m sure you can too. The show debuted on E! Last night and it has not yet been assigned a regular showing.

The End of Jon & Kate Plus 8?

Yet more drama in the Jon v. Kate saga. Jon has decided, oddly close to TLC’s decision to drop him from the show, that he wants the show to end for the sake of his children. Entertainment Tonight reported that John’s lawyer wrote in a letter to TLC -

“Jon Gosselin unequivocally believes that his children’s continued participation in your client’s television production is ‘detrimental’ to his children. Accordingly, Jon expects that your client will cease and desist from any and all further production which includes his eight children.”

Sounds to me like someone’s a little bitter about being fired.

Seriously…what kind of girls do they raise over at Disney? Not to even get in to specifics but, Vanessa Hudgens, Britney Spears, Christina Aguleria…and the newest girl to have her “morals” questioned while in the Disney stable…Miley Cyrus.

For everyone wondering, Ms. Cyrus is on tour. Trying her best to get the Pedobear seal of approval. Video from her tour is below…It becomes particularly interesting around the 1:40 mark.

A piece of my soul died after listening to that singing. And in case you couldn’t see the awesome parenting skills of Billy Ray Cyrus in the video, there’s pictures! The problem with this whole thing isn’t even the fact that she’s 16 and she’s psuedo-dry humping dude on stage; I’m sure your 16 year old child would see that or much worse at any party they go to. Its the fact that she’s with Disney and she’s doing it. Disney has always had this wholesome image…they’re supposed to be better than that.

Okay…first off, let me say this. The last thing I saw Eliza Dushku in was Bring it On. She was okay, I guess. I’ve never seen her new show, Dollhouse. After seeing these pictures of her in Complex, I will now be watching…just on the off chance she’s in a bikini.

No, seriously. I’m watching the show every week now. No, I don’t know the plot.

Kate Gosselin Just Got Scarier

If you’re at all like me, you are completely over the John and Kate plus Eight drama and wish that they and the media that loves them so much would move on. But no such luck yet. The show has returned with all new episodes to TLC. John and Kate never seem to be in the same place and the same time, but that is probably for the best. Recently Kate has been seen bikini clad beaching it up on vaca with different combinations of the eight kids. The worst of the Kate beach spotting is scheduled to happen next week. Okay, so maybe it isn’t the real Kate Gosselin, but it’s an interesting “look alike”.

Permanent “D lister” Kathy Griffin will be seen posing as Kate Gosselin for Tuesday’s (September 8^th ) Jimmy Kimmel Live. Kathy will be seen wearing a blond asymmetrical wig, fake stretch marks, and a bikini. The audience will be treated to a fake John played by 72 year old George Takei and eight borrowed children. Should be interesting; I’m not sure Kathy Griffin is capable of funny.

Anybody else remember when Lindsay Lohan was in the Parent Trap? It was adorable right? Then a few years later when she was in Herbie Fully Loaded and Disney freaked out cause her boobs were too big and they were worried that dad’s taking their kids to see the movie might be a little “too excited” about Lindsay racing around the track in a skin tight half unzipped racing suit? Anytime they have to go in and digitally reduce your bust line by two sizes? Its real serious out here…

Oh how the mighty have fallen.

Since Herbie, Lindsay has fallen off the boat. She has been in rehab, is now only putting out straight to DVD movies, flashed her crotch to many a person, appeared naked in a Marilyn Monroe-esque photo shoot, and continually broken up with her on again off again lesbian DJ girlfriend, Samantha Ronson. Did I forget to mention that she’s only 23? I don’t want to call her “Cousin Oliver” but when I see it, I call it. We are a long way from Mean Girls, people.

For those who don’t know, “Cousin Oliver” refers to cousin Oliver on the brady bunch. He was played by Robbie Rist. He unfortunately, peaked when he was like 6…and now he’s doing stuff like voice-over work for Barbie cartoon movies.

$900,000! You do realize that your last movie was Labor Pains, right? It debuted on ABC Family? This is soooo going to happen. But does anyone care? Like I mentioned before, Lindsay has fallen off…a lot. So it begs the question:

If a formerly popular Hollywood starlet poses naked in a magazine that is losing relevance by the day, does anyone care?
