Cheaters never prosper. Need proof?

Love cheat Sun Meng has been given the cold shoulder by his community after snaps of him cowering naked on an air conditioner were posted online by a furious husband.

Terrified Sun, 25, fled onto the vent when his lover’s husband caught them romping at their flat in Chengdu, Central China.

Now snaps of the showdown – taken by a neighbour – have been uploaded onto a local community website.

“My family is ashamed and none of my own neighbours will talk to me any more. I know what I did was wrong but I was afraid he would kill me. “People are even laughing at how I look naked – but I have to point out it was a very cold day,” said Sun (via Blame it on the voices)

Wasn’t this an episode of Fresh Prince? Will and Carlton get caught with that big dude’s girlfriend, and hide in the closet, then out on the ledge in their underwear? I digress.

My favorite part? The complete lack of remorse about the cheating; he’s only ashamed that he ended up naked outside. Classic.

A group of Ashton Kutcher wannabes try to punk a classmate but run smack into a wall of pent-up angry black man. I love how the kid’s first impulse is to move towards the loud noise. Pure, unadulterated killer instinct.

America’s Paralysis

Bob Herbert takes all Americans to task in his column in today’s Washington Post:

Americans have tended to watch with a remarkable (I think frightening) degree of passivity as crises of all sorts have gripped the country and sent millions of lives into tailspins. Where people once might have deluged their elected representatives with complaints, joined unions, resisted mass firings, confronted their employers with serious demands, marched for social justice and created brand new civic organizations to fight for the things they believed in, the tendency now is to assume that there is little or nothing ordinary individuals can do about the conditions that plague them.

This is so wrong. It is the kind of thinking that would have stopped the civil rights movement in its tracks, that would have kept women in the kitchen or the steno pool, that would have prevented labor unions from forcing open the doors that led to the creation of a vast middle class.

This passivity and sense of helplessness most likely stems from the refusal of so many Americans over the past few decades to acknowledge any sense of personal responsibility for the policies and choices that have led the country into such a dismal state of affairs, and to turn their backs on any real obligation to help others who were struggling.

Those chickens have come home to roost. Being an American has become a spectator sport. Most Americans watch the news the way you’d watch a ballgame, or a long-running television series, believing that they have no more control over important real-life events than a viewer would have over a coach’s strategy or a script for “Law & Order.”

Dave Chappelle is back

Its about time.

My favorite comedian of all-time is back…at least for 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Dave Chappelle recently did a set at the Laugh Factory, and they were ever so gracious to post…well only 2 minutes and 30 seconds. What’s up with that? Its not like your teasing us to go out and see the show; it already happened. Post the whole thing already! Clip is below. Some of the language is not safe for work.

Jon Gosselin’s “morals” are in question

If you’ve been following the debacle that is now TLC’s Jon & Kate Plus 8…you need to find a hobby.

I kid!

As you already know, the status of the show is up in the air, the status of Jon & Kate’s marriage is up in the air…all that we really know is that the kids are still going to school.

And that TLC has decided to sue Jon Gosselin.

Discovery Talent Services, which secures the services of individuals who appear on Discovery shows like TLC, has filed its lawsuit in Maryland Circuit Court.

According to the complaint, Gosselin signed a new deal in 2008 for “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ that provided his services and his family’s services in taping and promoting the program exclusively. The deal promised he wouldn’t do anything inappropriate that offended “social conventions or public morals or decency” or bring TLC into “public disrepute, contempt, scandal or ridicule.” It also obligated him to maintain confidentiality of business or operational information concerning the show, and stipulated he would not endorse products or services competitive to the program.

The plaintiff cites various breaches of this contract, including photographs and stories of Gosselin intoxicated and in the company of women other than his wife, Gosselin selling his services to other media outlets including a “lucrative arrangement” to appear on “Entertainment Tonight,” and Gosselin issuing his own press releases about the show. Although we usually hear about morals clauses in athlete contracts (i.e. Michael Jordan can’t wear Reebok, or dilute Nike’s brand, etc.) it makes perfectly good sense that they exist, in a much, leaner fashion, in television contracts.

Only time will tell what will happen with the lawsuit, but it looks like Discovery Talent may have a fairly strong case, with Jon’s recent talk about his own T.V. show, and his various trysts, among other things.

Balloon Boy Raps

I know, I know. Everyone was super surprised when it turns out that the Balloon Boy story was a hoax. Most surprised? The Colorado State Police. Of course, maybe they would have thought a little differently if they would have known that the family were attention whores, for lack of a better word, had appeared on the show Wife Swap, and that the three sons were rap stars.

Yes. Rap Stars.

Balloon boys’ parents are on that same level as the kids that put their kids in beauty pageants…at the age of 6. The “music video” below, is called “Not Pussified”. That of course is defined as:

“The modern day teachings of human beings living a superficial lifestyle of consumerism, obesity, and over-protectiveness for themselves and their children (put them in a corner for ‘Time Out’) in an effort to gain as many supporters as possible to believe that they are better than everyone around them.”

None of the language is NSFW, (beans beans, its good for your heart) but it is a little suspect…and a bad attempt at rapping.

Tracy Morgan…not a fan of some SNL cast members

Tracy Morgan has a new tell-all book. Unsurprisingly, he didn’t exactly get along with all of his co-workers.

“None of the cast I came up with saw this future for me,” reveals Morgan in ‘I Am the New Black,’ out next Tuesday. “All I have to say about that is, where’s Chris Kattan now? Where’s Cheri Oteri now? That b—- can’t even get arrested.”

But it wasn’t just work at ‘SNL.’ Morgan goes into erotic detail describing an unofficial road trip to an illegal strip club called the Loft.

“I invited everyone to go down there one week,” explains Morgan. “And Tina Fey, Rachel Dratch and a few others came along. I didn’t tell any of them what they were in for, so it was all cool when we got there. … Then these two girls came out onstage and started [engaging in sex acts], and that just shut it down. All the grips and crew guys from ‘SNL’ were standing around and loving it, but my castmates took one look at that, turned right around and rushed out of there.”

Morgan felt misunderstood by the ‘SNL’ cast. “I had my finger on the pulse of urban comedy, but when I brought my act to ‘SNL,’ those mother——— just felt bad for me,” confides Morgan. But he does have praise for his ‘30 Rock’ co-star, Tina Fey. “Tina wasn’t scared to come into my world and find the funny up in there. She’s that kind of cool,” he writes. (via PopEaters)

Honestly, I’d love to interview Morgan about his time at SNL (or I guess read the book). I wonder if being the token black guy was the reason that no one foresaw his future or his work ethic, or what?

Al Pacino – Italian Gigolo

No Richard Gere isn’t bringing out a sequel to the 1980 classic. The Italian gigolo is none other than one Mr. Al Pacino. You never really think that the Hollywood elite were once struggling actors, but I guess everyone has to work their way up. Pacino seemed to have it a little more ruff than most others. After dropping out school to pursue his acting part time Pacino found himself hungry and homeless. He told The New York post that “At 20, I lived in Sicily by selling the only asset I had – my body, … An older woman traded food and housing in return for sex. I woke mornings not really loving myself.” In the end I guess it all worked out for him; The Godfather Trilogy (we will forgive him for part III), Scarface, Carlito’s Way, Sent of a Woman … yeah he’s done alright for himself.

Guy humped…by rare bird

If you have ever had a bad day…or if you are having a bad day today, I guarantee you that this guy’s day is worse. Can you imagine, all of the excitement that must have come with initially seeing this rare bird out in the wild, being able to take pictures…and then have this happen?

That is pretty much a wrap on the rest of his day. I don’t care how good it was before that. Whenever a bird takes to your head, humps it, and scratches you up? There isn’t anything that can happen to make that day better. Just give up.
